Intel born a bombshell on Wednesday good afternoon, confirming that the companionship has hired AMD's old artwork guru, Raja Koduri, heading dormy a unprecedented chemical group to intention high-end discrete graphics for "a broad ramble of computing segments."
Koduri, who will start in December, wish head dormy the newly-formed Core and Visual Computation Group, Intel said. Koduri left AMD this week, leading to speculation that he would head to Nvidia OR Intel, the other two leaders in the PC art space. What wasn't known, though, was whether he would be caught up in PC artwork, Beaver State something tangential, such as AI.
Intel, though, apparently hasn't given risen connected the PC. Intel representatives declined to confirm whether Koduri's new role as head of the Kernel and Exteroception Computing Group will specifically let in Personal computer art, but his fres title sure implies it.
